both the Brick and do the right thing have some of this elements. some of them are similar to one another but In do the right thing Characters tend to be more complex or ambiguous and Downplays narrative drama in favor of undramatic present then in BRICK.
-A little history goes a long way toward understanding Italian neo-realism.
-Aside from the political realities, it's worth remembering that Italy was still in the first stages of a huge transition from agriculture to manufacturing.
-Key elements are an emphasis on real lives (close to but not quite documentary style), an entirely or largely non-professional cast, and a focus on collectivity rather than the individual.
it inspired them by not using well known actors and to use the reality of how the world is. To show the poor parts of the world not only the riches.

review of characters
concept 16-character that can relate to people makes them more interesting. and the viewers have more interest towards the film since they can see themselves.
concept 17.-relatable characters come from every were. use the people you've met. take aspects from each person
concept 35-when losing isn't an option-obsticles are good, but they have to figure out a solution by the end.
concept38-characters enhance conflict. conflict fueled by traits. foil
concept 39-characters change because of conflict.
concept 40-way a character surpasses a challenge is more interesting than the challenge itself. hero's journey.

concept 68
they all have in common that they are projected towards children and reaching to something they would love to have.in the chocolate factory its the dream of the kid to get a gold ticket to be able to go to the factory. in peter pan he wants to stay as a kid and not grow up. Pinocchio he wants to become a human and have feelings. In the polar express they want to reach the north pole to go see santa. In the wizard of oz dorthy wants to go back to kansas. the fantasy they have is that all that they are able to reach they just have to try hard, these themes are common because the main characters are from a lower middle class.

Hitch cock's techniques for suspenses
the method that i noticed was in the begining when he is introduceing all the characters with out dialoug and then he also uses points of view for example in the scene were the guy that might of killed his wife gets annoyed about the dog digging by his rose bush he uses this techniques to creat suspence and to make people wonder whats going to happen later on in the movie.

concept 63
my favorite music video is from romeo santos the song mi diosa.
once i turned the sound off the video goes along with lyrics. it shows how he would die for her and he sort of worships her like if she is a goddess well that is the name in spanish mi diosa = my goddess
so yea wat it comes at the end is that you would understand the video with or with out music.
